Senior Support Worker - Adults Community Services
We currently require a ‘Senior Support Worker’ to support Adults within the community based in Dudley, West Midlands.
Temporary on-going contract (will run until at least May 2021)
Full-time position: 37 Hours per week
Working hours:9.00-17.00, Monday-Friday
Supporting Adults with varying complex care needs within their own home

To participate in a Performance Review and Development meeting and undertake a plan of training where necessary. Develop his/her own skills and expertise in a professional manner.
In addition to all the responsibilities listed above, all employees must be flexible in their approach and undertake other duties that are commensurate with post holder’s level, wherever they may be, to achieve the objectives of the Directorate.

Experience of working and supporting people who have a long term care need in a Health & Social care setting
An understanding of the needs of vulnerable people and their carers
Experience of staff support and development
Knowledge of management of risk and risk assessment
Knowledge of person centred and outcome focused approaches to support planning
Experience of supporting staff to successful completion of Common Induction Standards (CIS)
NVQ Level 2&3 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care
